[HELP] Newbie Grower Struggling With Keeping My Young Plants Healthy

I successfully grew one outdoor plant for the first time last year, and ran into almost zero issues the whole time. I decided to grow 3 plants this year (all different strains) and have been having a tough go of it. From left to right (below): Strawberry banana, L.A. Wedding Pop, Magic Melon. I got my first two plants from a dispo as clones (Magic Melon and Strawberry Banana) on May 14th and planted them on the 15th. I planted them in Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil and immediately put them out into the sunlight without weening them onto it. Over the next two weeks they developed yellow spots and browning at the ends of the clipped fan leaves as well as very slow growth but appeared like they were going to make it. On May 28th, I got my 3rd plant (L.A. Wedding Pop) and weened it onto sunlight over 3 days. This plant developed yellow spots and browning similar to the other two and slow new growth but otherwise appeared to be healthy. Fast forward to yesterday: the Magic Melon plant began to wilt heavily despite the soil still being moist from being watered on Wednesday. The leaves do not feel firm. Strawberry Banana looks like its doing just fine but L.A. Wedding Pop looks browner/yellower and still shows almost no new growth. NOTE: The only plant I clipped anything off of was Magic Melon. I don't know whether that could have sent the plant into shock. Please help! I would like to save my plants if at all possible.

I personally think that the soil you have put them in is way to hot you should of put them it a light soil mix they look way over fed i would re pot them into a lighter mix and get some air to them roots they dont need much fert when they so young m8

everyone seems to struggle with fox farm with young plants i think the soil is just to hot for such a young plant re pot to a lighter mix and get a good stress relief stimulant and foliar feed them have you herd of biobizz acti-vera ???

I haven't given them any fertilizer yet, just water. You think that the base soil has too high of nutrient levels for young plants? Last year, I didn't get fox farms soil for at least 2 weeks so it started in a different soil. I have not heard of biobizz acti-vera. Is that a stress relief stimulant?

yes it strengthens your plant add a little in water and foliar feed every 2 days worked wonders for my other plants and amazing for clones...
But yes I think the soil is to rich for such a small plant when i start my plants off I always use biobizz light mix has hardly any nutes just enough to get them started if your ok with some money order it online its only 10er a bag and I wiuld recomend using the biobizz range its cheap all organic and I have never had a problem with it. The plant I showed you was a rescue plant long story but all my other plants atr thriving like always hope you can sort things out m8 ill keep an eye on this thread pal as I wanna know how things go..... started these baby's from seed....

Im running into this same issue indoors. I had always used a mix of half hot dirt and half cool dirt in the past. For whatever reason, i put all my plants in hot dirt this year and they arent roached like yours but they are all showing signs of burn.

Defo re pot \ would say they do look Burnt patches can be rescued dont give up on them you could wait till the soil is really dry and give the soil a good flush jusy ph'ed water and flush the soil right out get rid of the run off and just start again or in my opinion I would just re pot to a lighter soil....

Thanks for the advice, I will definitely re-pot in a lighter soil. Really appreciate the help!

welcome pal this is a common problem its just to hot to start off young plants but good for when they bigger hope all goes well keep us posted pal

Are you letting the soil dry out between watering?

What is the pH of the rootzone?

yeh let them dry out give them a good water with just ph'd water then test the run off that you get and let us no what you putting your water in at are you ph-ing your water?
