Help Needed

Greetings!

Hoping someone can help shed some light on a minor issue I've recently ran into.

2 girls, 3 weeks old that I've had under 1 ea. of a 60w, 6500k CFLs and they were doing just fine.

Due to the fact I'll be transplanting in the next day or so, I put them under a small, full spectrum LED as you can see by the color in the photos...

I've used this along with another LED in the past and plants loved them.

Issue: You can see, they're curling up a little and don't seem nearly as happy as they were without the LED. The LED was a bit close when I first turned it on, maybe 2 - 2 1/2' and have since moved it about 3 - 3 1/2' up.

Does the curling/drooping look like heat stress? Should I turn the LED off for a week or so after transplanting or just move it up some more and keep the CFLs close?

Any help/advice/suggestion is much appreciated!!

Yeah its a root problem. +1 over watered. Where are the drainage holes on those cups?
Too much water, really? The only reason I ask is I've barely been watering them maybe 4 or 5 days when the cup is very light but will give them even less going forward. As for drainage, i have about 4 - 5 rather large holes in the bottom that don't seem to be an issue.

I always like to water the new soil before transplant which I plan on doing this evening... Think that would further the excessive water issue?

It was just weird because none of this occurred until I introduced the LED and is mostly the plant on the left vs the one on the right.

Your light is high enough to pretty much rule it out right now. Transplant into a slightly larger container is suggested

Plant with more light takes up more water and nutrients. Youve done a really good job in those cups still having the seed leaves. Plants just got to a size that dont work with cups because youre soaking em to keep em from drying out.... Transplant prblem solved

Think these guys got ya sorted out I wouldn't go chasing to many parameters. Keep temps over 65F at night and over 70 day with good airflow and you should not have a problem
