help needed to make grow box

i was going to make like a 6ft tall and about 4-5ft wide box type thing to grow in with wood but i was thinkin maybe the light would heat it up to much so the main thing i want to know is should i make it from wood or find a metal shelf type thing that u can buy from like office depot ?

and should i go with 400hps or 600hps ? for that size

and i want to grow kush im a started in this grow and people tell me start with soil not hydroponics what do u guys think please help me out asap

btw i forgot to add i dont want to spend alot of $ on this first time setup im willing to pay for the light and stuff i cant make my self

if u got the money to dish out go hydro if not you can go soil.Its really on you but soil is more forgiving which is good for beginners as to hydro one mistake could cause alot of damage.People with a litte more experince go with hydro.

I would say build the box with wood and cut holes so you can put some exhaust fan and ducting.600 or 400 is again on you in that space you can benefit well from a 600 with a cooltube.But i use a 400 in a 33.5x33.5x58 and i think its a great light.I plan on upgrading soon tho. good luck

great thanks for the info you think 400 would be good for the size i posted ? or 600 cuz im thinkin about heat from 600 will be alot but then again it will help grow faster right ? btw im going to start with soil and 4 plants
