Hi guys, overall my plants are looking healthy but I noticed something on one of the leaves. I switched to flower 2 or 3 days ago and I'm guessing it's a magnesium or calcium deficiency? Should I use a sprinkle of Epsom salts to try and fix it or should I up my feed to 1.4 EC? My PH is 6.0, The E.C is 1.2 at the moment. I am growing in coco and watering till run off daily.

Do you ever use plain water?
No I never use plain water. I feed daily until run off. They were fine the other day and now they are showing signs of a deficiency. I'm guessing It's a calcium or magnesium Deficiency? Overall they look pretty healthy

I'm no plant expert, but it appears to be the start of a magnesium deficiency.
Your plants look great!
You might consider removing some of that lower growth for better air flow.
Good luck.

Thanks dude, I will get rid of some more of the lower growth tomorrow, do you think I should give them some Calmag to help treat the magnesium/calcium deficiency?

I'm hesitant to advise you to use calmag because I'm unfamiliar with the nutes you're using..........besides, like I said, I'm no plant expert.
In addition, I never have deficiencies.........so I don't know what I would do.
Good luck.

I'm using A&B for coco by Dutch pro, it's for hard water. I never normally have deficiencies either but this Cookies Fish scale weed is super hard to grow. And thanks dude :bigjoint:

I would also like to add that my EC run off has been coming out low for the past 3 or 4 weeks at 0.5 EC, but the plants have stayed healthy until now. The run off EC is coming out at 0.5 EC and going into the pots at 1.2 EC. and I have no idea why it would be so low because my plants looked healthy for a long time and grew very fast over these past few weeks so I'm super confused and I'm super high lol :bigjoint:

They r smashing the food preparing for stretch if your run off is that low. All your doing is pushing left over water out the pot when you water. All the nutrients are consumed. I wouldn't go crazy with upping my feed strength. Very small increases. Or maybe feed 2 or 3 times a day now instead of uping feed dose

Thanks dude. I might up it a little bit more tomorrow by 1ml/2ml per 10 liters which is only 0.1ml/0.2ml per liter. I wish I could feed 2 or 3 times a day but I am hand feeding in coco so I can only manage 1 time per day otherwise it would take up my whole day lol :bigjoint:

I wish I could dude, I am hand feeding and I have to make up two 10 liter watering cans because 1 watering can isn't enough to feed 4 plants everyday till run off. I'm going to get a self feeding system soon :)
That's your issue tho boss. Coco and rockwool want to b fed. Should never b more than say 35% dried out at max. I would feed every 6 or 8 hrs. Or at least when lights come on and a hr or 2 b 4 they go off

When I get a irrigation system I will feed them at least 2 or 3 times per day but I can't afford one at the minute, it takes me hours just to feed them once a day lol they are still wet when I water them once a day :bigjoint:

I mix up 2 - 1 gallon containers for 4 plants........takes me 15 minutes.
I do that twice a day.
Most of the time is mixing the nutes........only takes me 5 minutes to feed.

I don't get run off until I put about 3 liters through each plant and 4 plants takes about 12 liters so I have to make up two 10 liter watering cans dude, maybe I'm getting too much run off or some shit? I have to add the nutrients to my source water, then add PH down and test the EC and PH and then I have to do that twice for 2 different watering cans and then I have to feed them to my plants. It takes me at least 1 hour :weed:
