126watts

it should be really good looking at it on paper but please take some pics because i and anyone else that understands where the future of lighting is headed is interested in seeing it in action and accomplishing what its claims too fame are...

btw i have two ufos, different ones, that have really worked pretty dam well, im interested in what the more powerful diodes will do especially in flowering...:joint:

from my understanding leds are only useful if they are at certain wavelengths, i bet thats got alot to do with it. If not your right that would be a pretty decent deal.

hey dude, pics will come, im on a hps 250 atm. the led lights are bought for a growcabnet to sit my 4 foot oscar tank on. still need to nock it up. still in the proccess of gathering part..when these lights come just need to cut the wood and nock it up.

126watts nice! with a power consumtion of 3w?? 15 x 126w doesnt sound too energy freindly lol..

*darkdestruction they are cool white. so if thats anything like the cfl spectrum i am guessing it wil be ok?.. maybe a few cfl veg bulbs for good mesure possibly, this will be a purely flower chamber

this is the argument i see everywhere. people saying growth cant be supported on certain wavelenths alone..

Damn, I cant believe i didnt notice this before but dude, yeah, thats gonna cost you alot of money to run, each one of those has 42 leds that use 3 watts each led. so yeah, it will be 15 x 126w, so you'll be using 1890 watts total.

Soft white LEDs? IDK any more than what I saw on that ebay post, but I'm not sure those will be what you're looking for in a grow light.

"Soft White" is presumably in the 2700K color, good for flowering range. If it dont at least tell me the K color, I am very suspicious of how good it will be for growing.

You can get 15 more, if aint rocking the right light spectrum's then it aint rock & roll. What if its mostly Green spectrum light???

yer if its green then ive wasted 30ish bucks.. :s have 15 e27 sockets so 10 42 watts will be the plan of attack for flower n the rest for vedge if the pakaging has no spectrum information/ all is lost.. they were dirt cheap.. and an impulse buy so..

yer i saw cool white..

green spectrum is bad, plants dont absorb that area of the color spectrum at all. it bounces right back off. You can actually have a green halogen or cfl light running during the dark period of flowering if you would need to and you'd be perfectly fine, it wouldnt fuck up their dark cycle. I dont like distrubing the dark period but ive had times where i really didnt have a choice, the green light has never failed me.
