that would be correct nute burn , basically your adding more nutes in a soil that has pre mix nutes in it.

we needs pics bro.

first off, Hyponex is cheap ass shit. it is never properly composted and often has critters in it.

in any potting mix, 7 weeks is WAY early for adding anything but micronutrients (which the cheap shit almost always lacks)

the number one cause of dead plants is TOO MUCH WATER.

the number two cause is improper drainage

imma need to know:

what kind of pots you are using (plastic terracotta, glazed ceramic, buckets, aeropots, old coffee cans etc)

How big are the pots

how much drainage they have

how much are you watering

how often

are you using catch pans for runoff

do you have standing water in those pans

are your plants BROWN:

Droopy?

burnt

or DONE?

I see the pics. now. those are over nitro over fertilized big time. how I know yes burnt leaves and you see its starting to form a claw . like a closed hand. you need to use straight ph water for at least 5 days. and us 1/4 strength of what your using now. of fertilizer. the numbers kind of suck in that fertilizer look for some thing where there all the same . and you will not have any issues. some thing like 10 10 10 in veg is perfect. even to grow monster 4 foot tall plants. but act now with clean water very important to wash the excess fertilizer out of the soil . I would water them if they needed it or now at this point your doing harm to them now, chance a soggy over watered plant over a dyeing plant. add half water per soil will do it example gallon pot half gallon water . then water normal more days.

Yeah man,that's nute burn.
Why are you using mg for nutes?
MG is not the nutes to use for mj man.
Please drop some cash on some good nutes.
At this point I would flush, flush, flush then go to amazon or ebay and buy some good nutes.
The soil has nutes in it as well so you can basically just water them for a while until you can get some decent nutes.
I use mg soil in my grows and go light on my nutes until they're at least six inches tall and then I use nutes sparingly only feeding twice a week.
Hope this helps and good luck with your grow.

I see your pics........you're over feeding and possibly over watering I don't see a lot of perlite........any lime in that mix? h Not familiar with MG or hyponex but if they are peat based you might need a pH buffer hence my lime question. You said MG soil and hyponex pre loaded with fert so for those size plants if you added nutes that's no bueno.

yea the nutes were a bad choice by far and as for the soil it doesnt seem to be horrible at all...but where i live soil is hard to come by and ordering that and other nutrients from amazon to my house just seems dumb.

as for the plants i have just been lettin them dry giving them time to cope. i was planning on watering again in a few days on the larger plants and not for awhile on the smallest.
I am going to use strictly distilled water which ph at 7.....
every container drains except the largest green one

so until i can find better nutes this is what im stuck with just wondered if they would bounce back or not

They prolly will dude the green potted plant seems to have purple stems.....I would consider adding lime to your mix get it at lowes or depot make sure its dolomite powdered.....noone is watching ppl order soil or nutes from amazon dude.

Won't lime just increase the ph? What size containers should the plants be in for the size room I have . Like I said Any suggestions to help would be perfect

Lime should make a neutral pH of 7.....even when peat breaks down trying to drop it....container size is personal pref I just pulled a solo cup grow in a huge room.

miracle gro nutrients arent bad, just very spicy. when using MG nutrients be sparing, use half the solution strength recommended, half as often. when your plants want more they will tell you.

the soil is CRAP, and overwatered. grab one of those clumpy nuggets and break it up, it's gonna be clay. clay is SHIT if it isnt mixed with good well composted organic material, which your dirt lacks. cheap soil is always bunk, with chunks of wood and crap, but hyponex is just useless. it's conna have pebbles and twigs and shit in it, with very little compost.
when you go to transplant, hit the Home Depot and get some Supersoil or Organic Choice brand. even Miracle Gro's soil is better than Hyponex.
feel the soil through the bag, it should be smooth, not chunky, pokie or twiggy, smell it through the vent holes, it should smell sweet and earthy not sour or musty. if it smells cedary or piney, keep moving, if it smells like dung, dont use it.
always add Perlite (~$5 for a sack that will do for ~100 gallons of soil) and also get some Peat Moss (~$8 for a 10 lb bag)

the folgers jug needs plenty of holes in the bottom for drainage, but your nursery pots should be fine.

dont let runoff water stand about. any runoff in your catch pans should be eliminated (i save mine and pour it on the plants with the next watering)

85 watts of flourescents should be ok for lil plants but as they get bigger youll need more light.

i currently rock with ~200 watts of flourescents (real wattage, not the "equal to X watt bulb") check the actual wattage and add it up to get your real number.

your plants dont look too terrible, just water less and hold off on the fertilizers for a bit, then when you do add fertilizers, go gently, especially with miracle gro.

fox farms is a better choice, but MG can work good if you are careful.
