HELP!!! my first grow.

Ok so, i am trying to grow a plant indoors but not using any artificial lighting(because i don't have the money to buy any grow lights.) i want to grow it inside and use the sun as lighting. will this work???
also im not growing to sell and i really dont care how much product i get just wanna try smoking my own grown stuff.
the seed was from a bag i bought a little while ago. just basic schwag. i germinated the seed and planted it today.

people have grown on their window sill! but dude seriously just go get some CFL'S for like 2 pound a piece !

The problem is the light schedule from the window sill. Veg needs 18-24 hours of light. Flowering needs 12, and 12 of pitch black. The guy is right about cfls. In my town there are coupons online to get them free at walmart to be more "green" ( use their bull shit against them haha)

well i have a little grow area in my closet that has a florescent light for night time. but i dont want to leave it on all the time.

you wont even notice a raise on your electric bill.

what wattage should i use???

you need at least a 100 watts of cfl light per plant. That is actual watts not the equivalent. Get a cheap timer and a small fan and you pretty much will have everything you need for a small closet set up.
