Hey yall. My buddy is running a 4x4 with a hlg 550 eco. A.c is being pulled in with freash air, and exhaust carbon filter set up. The leaves are curling sideways and looking funny. I trimmed the fingers off for him to let more light through the canopy. He had the light 24 inch and 36 inch above his plants even to the top of the tent, but they are still showing stress. Hes dimmed the light down and its still doing this. Any advice would greatly be appreciated. Its his first time and its got me stumped

Yes tips were bad and wilting. I cut them off to get rid of the excess energy that was going to waist. Still doesnt help with the heat problem hes having.

I'm guessing the ends of the leaves were all crisped up so they cut them off.

Is it best to leave leaves that have a lot of damage or to pull them? Is there a ratio of damage to good leaf that needs to happen before pulling the leaf? Just trying to figure out if I’m doing the plant good or harm by pulling damaged leaves.

OP if you left the leaves people could help more with what’s going on.
