Help! My baby fell over...

...just after my seed sprouted someone knocked the pot over and it went everywhere. I recovered the sprout and replanted it, but it was hard...one long root with a sprout. I am giving it lots of water, but have any of you got ideas as to the best way to help it re-root? It is looking a little scraggly after just one night.

It should be fine. Perhaps replant into a bigger container so the root has plenty of room to grow. Just don't get too enthusiastic and over water.

I have knocked over and had to replant a dozen seedlings before I learned to zip tie cords together, make unobscured pathways, etc. They all recovered.

Will probably stunt visible growth for a while while the root system recovers. May add a week or so to your veg time.
