Help! Mites on my buds

Put container of water in refrigerator and get cold, then put in sprayer and spray the underside of the leaves. Do this every three days and mites will be gone. Mites hate cold water and will drop off. Got this suggestion from a fellow grower this last summer and it does work. Good luck

That will not work. Don't waste you're time lol. The problem is keeping them off.

Only a week left before harvest! I laughed when I first heard of idea, but it does knock them off.

Others on here that have stated it's not true are WRONG. A quick internet search on CO2 fumigation will pull up multiple publications about it. It has been used for years in commercial applications to control insects. This method is not the easiest to pull off but it does work and like I stated is the least invasive to your plants. It should also be noted that the best way to avoid this problem is to implement a insect eradication program in your grow. Whether its neem oil, bug b gone or some home made concoction. My advice is to spray 3 times 5-7 days apart before they go into the flower room. This insures that the adults, larvae, and eggs are killed.

Being safe and clean doesn't necessarily protect you. It helps but isn't 100% effective. Thats why implementing a insecticide regimen is highly recommended and ensures that going into flower you are bug free. Also, it is a good idea to spray again before the plants turn and start showing flowers.

So I just read that chive plant in the grow room will deter mites? Any thoughts on this
