Hey guys
I built a 5 foot high 4 foot wide grow box. Im wondering how many plants i could grow in it. I want 4-6 of them, if thats possible, would it be fine to us 2 400watt High pressure sodium bulds? And how much light should i give them a day. IM new to growing.

That should be an ample amount of space. It might get a little more crowded near the latter portion of the flowering stage, but that can be handled easily, and depends on if the plants are very bushy and how many colas you're going for.

2 400 watters should be great for that space with proper ventilation.

During the vegetational stage you want to give them 18 hours light / 6 hours dark. Than when you are ready to flower 12 hours light / 12 hours dark.

Good luck.

I agree, you could actually use just one 400W in that area and setup another box... A 400 can cover a 3x3 area.

In a 3x3 space you can essentially fit 9 plants, one square foot each.

Good luck with your first attempt, remember, Keep it simple

There is a lot of research you should do, nutrients, soil, etc.
