Help me setup please !!!

I recently came across some lights and ballasts... And i have know idea on how i should setup.

I have an...
600w HPS with an Hydro farms shade and digital ballast
1000w HPS with and hydro farms shade and digital ballast

I dont think I'm gonna use both because my grow area isn't the big but would like to grow at least 8-10 plants an a time .. please help me out with an comment or pointer and advise on any other gear i would need...

The HPS 600w would adaquately light a 5x5 area. Buy a proper "grow bulb" for it, say, the "HPS 600w Growlux". Otherwise, you may not have a proper growlight as is.
