I recently harvest my first grow everything was kool buds looked pretty good for a first grow and all i hung them upside with fan blowing on low in the dark 1st day checked them still real moist gave them 3 more days cuz from what i was reading takes most people 5-7 days of hanging welp went in one the 4th day to0 check again buds were sooo dry that when i touched them they crumble :( i already researched the solutions and I put them in my glass jars to cure and added the sponge method to moisten That was 30 mins ago so hopefully this will work But what i wanna know is anyone have any idea why the dried like that soooo fast?!?! and also why they felt kinda moist in the middle but on the outside soo dry enough to crumble :/ dont get it ..it reminds me of when you turn the oven on high and cook the outside of something way faster then the inside ..But i cant seem to connect the dots here thought i was doing everything right :/

That has happened with me before and because the outside was so dry but the inside was still a little moist, I just put my bud in a mason jar, sealed it real good and burped it every couple of days. I didn't use a damp sponge or anything, just let the moisture from the inside come out and it was all good. Sometimes I think when the bud is drying in an area with very little humidity (the preference) along with the fan blowing, it dries the outside fast. You didn't do anything "wrong"! LOL! This is fixable and your bud will still be good to go. I've never done that sponge thing though, hope it doesn't create too much moisture or an environment for mold to develop on the buds. Keep a close eye on it, open at least once or twice a day to make sure too much moisture is not building up. Much grow love my friend, and good luck to ya.
