Ok, so I have made my grow box.
The dimensions are...

8in x 1ft x 1.5ft

On two sides I have a hole for ventilation, the inner box is lined with a plastic bag. and the box is drained with napkins at the bottom. the box is a pampers baby fresh wipes my mom ordered from some baby website. Anything I need to add? any tips?

EDIT:
Here is my light setup, The lightbulb I'm using is a 15w CFL I believe it's for flowering, I will be using that for perhaps the first week or two with my seedling. After I can afford it I will use some higher voltage, full spectrum lights, maybe 20 or more watts.

I really can't see you getting much at all from this. A 20 watt bulb is not going to get you far, nor is that 'grow box'. For about £45 you can get a Secret Jardin grow tent, 1-4 plants. You should invest in that and at least 200 Watts of cfl.

I don't really want a massive yield I only want somewhere between 20 - 28 grams dried

Yeah dude I struggled to yield that much with a 200w CFL so your deff not. If looking for that much go with a small HPS.
That grow box will burn down and suffocate your plants, get a grow tent.
You need some sort of ventalation.
With that if they don't die you might yield 1-3 grams max.

If it helps I may just toss the box and place the plant in the corner of white walls, and a window. with the light shining with it.

also how much do you think a window plant will yield?

depends how much light it gets a day and temps and humidity and many factors. Just stick it on window sill don't bother with sticking it in the corner. You may hit your target but you may not. First grow? You may run into a few problems which will stunt growth and yield so just prepare yourself and learn from your mistakes.

don't take this the wrong way, but you need to scrap that whole setup. Your grow box is a fire waiting to happen. Not worth it to burn your house down trying to grow an oz.

you really do need to spend money and do this properly. If you don't have the money for a proper set-up, you won't have the money for proper maintenance.

that light you have is about 1/10 of the lighting you would need if you were doing strictly CFL. I would recommend no less than 300w of light regardless of your target yield. There's tons of things you can do to keep your yield low, other than keeping an unhealthy plant.

I never understand how you can wait for several months and all you want is one oz dried? lol you may as well just stop smoking why bother you can just buy on oz. If you dont want much why bother seriously, surely you know someone who you can just buy a bag of dirt weed from you obviously dont smoke much so just grow it in the window for decoration. Scrap the firetrap though and just set it in the windowsill, the hard part will be when you need to change to 12/12, without strong lights during day cycle it will take forever, does not sound like you need the smoke not sure why your doing it, but hey why not. Just get rid of that box as it will just generate more heat and not allow good c02 exchange.

Lol, I wanted to just prove myself that I can grow some mary J and I could at least get a yield. why the heck would i wait 2 months for 1 oz to smoke, but I am going to just go plant it outside, I will find a nice secluded location and in two months will get much bigger yield. i think growing marijuana is a nice job, the pay is awesome, $10 for 1 gram, and if you sell 4 or more oz a month your bills are paid, etc, etc. I guess I'm going to just be smart and plant outside, and take it as a learning experience.

get a 5 gallon nursery bucket put an extra 3 holes at the bottom along with the 6 that are around the outside edge Aeration is important for the soil. That looks like a nice root coffin. 20 watts Ha you mean a 20 watt CFL equal to a 100 watt Ol' school bulb. Minimum use a 5000 or better color then after it gets uneven nodes or if a clone about 15 inch tall and then go to a 2700 color. you need to give her 2000 lumen minimum at the canapy top to get enough lite to cycle. Go and read some posts instead of just asking as you plug along with other questions. Most topics have been tagged and easily searchable via meta name such as this one could be (planting medium soil).

Lol you went from few grams to MR KINGPEN, I used to dream about getting bills paid and buying a bunch of shit. After pizza and beers dude you will realize its a bit hard to make a living from weed and stay stealthy. Grow for knowledge and smoke free good luck

dude im sorry but your setup is a joke. you said you want 20-28 grams? not with that setup. try buying a grow tent or something.
