Help me pick the best LED lamp from these three

Harvests are still going strong with my blackdogled phytomax-2 1000

They look great Alfadog, how long have you had your light?

Other than smaller yields I noticed waterings going from every 3 days to every 6 days, like the plants metabolism got tuned down to 50%. Everything else is the same, I can't think what else would be the problem.

Hey @Hobbes , so if you wish to see the FC 6500 I used it on my last run and will add a link. It worked fantastic in a 4x4. I also did an unboxing for it here with a bunch of par readings. I just set up the FC 8000 for my next run but the 6500 is defiantly not going to let you down on performance. None of the lights you listed will disappoint. The 6500 does fold which comes in handy and I like the coverage of these bar lights better than the older HLG configurations personally but still, they will all get the job done.

I harvested two weeks ago, a small yield.

I have 4 clones from one of last harvests plants that I'm going to flower under the new light, if the yield is up I'll know that the light was the problem.

I typically find that as they get ripe, they drink less and less towards the end. This kinda gives me an additional signal that they're ready... or very close.

Sour Bubble from the man, the legend, BOG. These will be grown under a Mars Hydro FC6500 in a 4x4 tent.

Hello RIU, so I am going to start a jornal and grow some BOG Sour Bubble seeds. During this I will also be making some BOG seeds. Going to be growing in a Mars Hydro 4x4 tent with a Mars Hydro FC6500 light. 7 Sour Bubble seeds are soaking now, tent is set up. AC Infinity 6" carbon filter set up...

If you don't mind me asking, were the 2 lamps gifts from Mars? Are you going with a bigger tent with the FC 8000?

Yes, both lamps were given to me by Mars to show. They set me up with a 5x5 tent to go with the 8000. I like the tent actually, it's improved over the 4x4 they sent me as it has flaps that overlap the zipper making them seal even better. I am going to start a new thread shortly to show the 8000. I believe I am also getting a special discount code to give out so if you go that route let me know and I may be able to save you a couple bucks depending on how long it takes them to create the code for me. I must admit that the bud quality was nice and dense with the FC 6500, here is some finished BOG Sour Bubble BX3.

I'm convinced that flushing is at the best benign, at the worst it starves the plant just as it's finishing.

I don't even check my trichs until the pistils are white, then scope them. I let this last batch of Serious Happiness go an extra week.

I finally placed my Scorpion Diablo order, it came to $1,955 Canadian after tax. A bit more than I wanted to spend but I'm getting a good light for the bargain.

I'll post during my next flower to let you know how the new light is working and if I made the right decision in buying a new light so soon. I'll weigh my last harvest from my Black Dog in a day or two, then weigh this clone grow under the Scorpion Diablo for comparison.

No, I didn't know there was a discount available. I emailed them about doing a promotion for their light but haven't heard back yet.

Just my luck, 1 hour after ordering my lamp I get an email from Brock at HLG offering a goodwill discount. Lol! The luck!

For 10% I would email back asking if they would refund the discount to you. I just called and told the the RIU10 coupon didn't work in Canada so they provided me with one.

The discount is about $400 cad, worth the effort.

Absolutely worth it if you can cancel. Odd, I ordered straight from HLG Canada but it appears that they are closed. Nothing about it on Google other than this.

You should defo try to source the socrpion diablo directly from HLG: they upgraded their diodes a while back to the new lm301h evo which adds a bit better efficiency and spectrum. Make sure you dont get the old version (and paying more for it).
