i wish i had a pro dry room setup.. but i live in the real world and thus i am broke..

this is my second grow.. my last grow i lay that shit out flat and dried it by the window, no problem but could of been better so this time im gonna hang it..
i cant wait 6 weeks for the perfect finish i need good, dry weed, in about a week

the only way i can dry this is hanging it up in my room, should i leave it near the window to keep fresh air circulating?
or keep the window closed and have a fan blow on it?
or a cardboard box with a fan? but wont that make the weed stink like cardboard?

ive read 100's of threads on this, every answer is different, how can i improve what i already have?

well im no expert, but you dont want them in the light, can you not hang them in a wardrobe or something with a fan on ?

yes take that out of any light esp. sunlight the UV will degrade the precious thc. just put it in an open dark area with air exchange and ur all set. an oscillating fan will be nice. Don't expect anything too great if your only gonna wait a week though
when they get a little dryer put em all nice and close together so they dry a bit slower and your product will be a little better.

naw cant do a wardrobe or an attic plus my fan is big, like 2foot tall maybe more:bigjoint:awkward set up

but darkness is good... ill block out the light from the window and get a fan on it..

your main goal is to get it to dry for 14 days with no molding so i mean just do as minimal airflow as possible depending on humidity and temperature. If u think its a bad day for mold and the buds are real wet turn ur oscillating fan up. lots of people use old boxes and run strights thru the top and just use an extracting fan. something about carboard/paper bags makes the flavor great. If u have a lot of moisture in the stems you can bring the crispy buds back to moist by either jaring it or paper bagging it i like the paper bag as it is permiable and lightproof :)

cool .. make sure to check on em .. after 5-8 days they will be ready for the jars .. depending on your tempetures and humidity ..
dont want em to dry going in the jars .. and make sure to open the jars twice a day (morning/evening) and let em stand for 10 minutes to get rite of some moist ..

after a week in the jars they should be ready to smoke (tho a early taste is allowed ;)) after a few more weeks it will smell nice and strong and tast/effect will be optimal .. some even cure em for months ..

if your worried about it being too dry if u make a mistake, leave a little extra stem on it before you go to jars, it will allow a lil extra moisture to bring back into the buds. you know its time to jar when most of the smaller stems are still pliable but snap when you go too far
