Help me identify this strain that ppl love around here

I live in Southern Louisiana... And the most popular KB (almost only) is this stuff that simply goes by the name "purple". It's tight nugs, about a gram per, and it has a VERY indica feeling. The buds are usually a mix of green and dark purple, though sometimes you'll come across those that are almost exclusively purple in color. It has a very "loud" smell of berry/grape.

I realize this is a tough question with the little info I've provided, but just want to see your guesses.

And like I said, this is BY FAR the biggest thing here. These people think it's the holy grail of pot. Even the most famous rapper from my city made a popular song about this strain:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRb-7_KI9fA

I mean to be honest I think you answered your own question... Lol. Purple. Or as they say in br "where dat purp!?" haha.

being from NOLA i can assure you, its purple kush. at least when i usually get "purps" that's what it is. but down here anything with a hint of purple is known as purps.

there's a ton of stuff out there people are just calling purple. there's a stony indica out here i used to get called purple and i got some bagseed from another grapey & piney indica dominant elsewhere. i don't remember if it was purple.

check out TGA subcool's gear. he has a purple grapey strain that's probably even better than what you were getting.
