It's my first ever grow lol just planted some regular bagseed in the hope it'll become something. I have a white widow auto growing too. Planning to buy another 50 watt led for that one so it can have enough light

Sure, I did the same thing when I started :) Might want to consider getting a 300 watt led or something, only about $75. I wasn't happy with my results till I bought at least three of them...

By the time you buy 3 $75 LED lights you could have gotten a 600 - 1000 watt HPS setup with sealed hood that can deliver a pound in a 4 x 4 tent for less.

True that, but the thing is, I can buy 8, 50 watt led bulbs for the price of one 1000 watt HPS bulb. The led ones cost INR 1000 each, which is around 15 USD. But the 1000 watt HPS costs INR 8000, that is around 115 USD

Led panels are even more costly with basic 100 watt panels costing as much as 20000 to 30000 INR. It's almost 400-500 USD for a basic led panel :/// So just regular led bulbs work out the cheapest

So with a HPS that bright, how hot does that get? I have the cash now, but I also was wanting to put some money into better ventilation too. Heat is a big concern for me....

It all depends on the setup you’re running and the size of your grow space...those G watt HPS get hot . I do miss my 1000W HPS, but haven’t used it in a long time due to a hiatus in growing.

Yeah, I'm in a 4x4 tent for veg and the rest of the closet space for flower. It's enough for me (and only for me), so I may just stick with what I've got going that works... I'm happy with my recent results although I always look to improve of course...
