Roseman was a well respected and senior member of this forum before the ban hammer began swinging. I don't know if he was actually banned or just left - but I have never known him to embellish or shade the truth.

Unless RIU admins are hustling donations without full disclosure, these folks were taken from their homes, not arraigned in the local federal jurisdiction (that had MORE than enough resources for 3 "prisoners") and then flown many states away. There weren't 3 beds in California at much less cost???

MG,you're the kind of friend everyone needs when we get into trouble. I don't agree with all that you say and I have told you that at one point but I hope my friends will try to help me as you have done with your friend. I can deff. respect that about you.
That's kinda the point of the thread I think....to try to help?
Unfortunately I believe we will have all the time in the world to discuss who is right and wrong and all that but this isn't the time and Deff. isn't the place.
Maybe we should just concentrate on positive strategies here and not a bunch of negative stuff.
Not that any negativity is being spewed............Just sayin!

Thanks Doser, not trying to be negative, just pointing out how far downhill our country has gone in 30 years. These aren't my "friends", but I would speak up for any situation that seems as patently unjust as this one. Indefinite detainment without being charged is a very dangerous practice, and they've already gone from using it on "terrorists" to either a plant or art glass. Who's next? I grow exotic perennials, seeds for many of which come from areas of the world where we're supposed to have enemies. Might be me!

Common sense would tell you that anything and everything you put on the internet immediately becomes public domain. Once it's out there it doesn't go away. So if you put out info about doing something illegal, that's on YOU....not RIU or anyone else.

HMMM... Perhaps you should have considered that before posting illegal activities on a public forum. I understand your frustration and it is the reason that if I was doing something illegal in my state or country I would not make record of it in public or anywhere else for that matter. Not saying it's right that they won't delete your account though.

I did nothing Illegal and have not been charged with anything......I am just writing to warn others, I did make a mistake and they found me and I am/was investigated....not sure it helped I had KMK on my "friends list".

If you have done nothing illegal and have not made any record of illegal activities then you have nothing to worry about. I understand why people are upset about FDD enterprising off of MMJ but saying he got what he deserved is just plain dumb. Also if your on a public forum you should expect Joe Public to be reading, sometimes Joe wears a badge, which is something YOU should have thought of when you posted. Frankly it sucks that anyone should have to go to jail behind some flowers, and to top it off harmless flowers at that. We all know the risks involved with our hobby (if you don't STOP now), also understand that when you are friends with other so called "criminals" you become one by association. If your friends with major drug dealers in your every day life it is possible that you too may be investigated even if they are just friends. Saying that of course LEO look at this site, for them it's like shooting the proverbial fish in a barrel. Think about that whether your in a "legal" state or not because things can change fast.

One thing you must consider is your hearing something from someone else who also heard it somewhere else. In other words some of this story is more than likely padded to make it more interesting and on the other end probably to make it larger and worse than what it really is.
