Hi, i have never had any luck till now germinating white widows [feminised] [never tried regular].

I am using flying dutchmen feminised white widow.
This is the second time i have orderred flying dutchmen feminized white widow, and did my purchase from different seedbanks.

First time, success rate of germination = 0%.

Second time [now], i have 4 feminised white widows, i tried germinating one the other day, [let it in a shot glass of water] [same type of water my lowryder germinated in].

It never openned up, and the seed is still hard. [24 hours shot glass, 5 days in moist tissue, nothing.].

i've assumed its not going to germinate, so i changed the water, and dropped in another seed some hours ago, hmm i don't know, am i doing something wrong?

I have placed the shot glass in a carton box [no light gets in] in my grow room [which is pretty hot enough inside], i only have 2 last of those WW left. i hope this one germinates, any tip you might have about feminised white widows? am i wrong somewhere. Please see if you can guide me a lil bit.

Thanks.

k big factors of germinating seeds are warmth and moisture

what i do is i put the seeds in a wet paper towel then put the bag on top of my cable box and let it sit there for 3 days.

then when i see it sprout i'll move it immediately to a little cup and put it in a humidity dome till it grows bigger for a transplant

after re reading your post since i only read half of it the first time before i posted, i'm 100 percent sure the reason your seeds arent germinating is because of warmth.

Have you ever tried scratching your seeds first, putting the seeds in a container with a pice ov sand paper, then shacking the container, This method scarifies the seed ensuring it soaks up some needed water#

i'll try that sand paper method, and for the heat, i'll put inside a light proof box with water in it and tie it to a cfl, probably the heat generate by the cfl will be enough.. i hope.
