I like to foliar feed them.......if you use it in the res you need to lower your nute strenght as well.......as for gravity start 3 weeks before the end and run for 5-12 days...so on a 8 week strain start at week 5.....I flush for 3-5 days if I over nuted my plants maybe a week but no longer than that........flush right before the 8 weeks for an 8 week strain....and as far as the lucas formula start your seedlings/barely rooted clones with 1/4 strength so for veg it's 5 micro 10 bloom full dose.....so for seedlings barely rooted clones start 1 ml per gallon micro 2 ml per gallon bloom....remember the 2 to 1 ratio and always use it to slowly increase your nute strength as your plants develop.......don't start full strenght

thanks alot. one more question. I am kinda scared of foliar feeding because i dont want to spray something im going to smoke. What approach do you take when you do it? do you also use regular water or anything to spray sometime after you sprayed with solution?

oh yes one more thing, sorry lol. with gravity when you lower the nute strength, do you go back to normal usage after you used gravity for 5-12 days?

Foliar feeding is good for plants....they just absorb what you spray on them it doesnt stay on the buds.......and yes after the gravity application just resume your normal feeding regimen until it's time to flush.......I like to flush with plain Ro water for a day after adding any additive to my res....

Im right with you " EmptyWords".......... I will be following your results, charts and feeding scheduals closely.
I also have that problem from jumping to one name brand to another.
Keep up the good work and the charts too

also do people actually follow the nutrient calculator? because i see alot of people saying start off with 1/4 what the regular amount is. so would i start out 1/4 and work my way up to the full amount of what it says?
I never start off with the full amount, especially with Advanced Nutrients. I don't know about GH though, so maybe they're weaker in concentration and don't need the light treatment at first.

Of course, it's always better to undernute at first than to overnute. So much easier to add nutes than to take them away again....:)

For my grows, working my way up with nutes has always been the best approach, though I admit I've forgotten in the past without too many problems, though I was able to watch the grow closer because it was summer time.

I dig whiteberry it is a hardy easy to grow strain.......
That is exactly why i want to start with that strain. If i can get good results with that strain and all the nutes i plan on using then i should be good to work with any strains i want to. I also plan on running 2 other strains, probably og kush 18 and lsd using the same nutes and see what i get. I will most likely start later next month.

whiteberry is easy to grow others are not......I can tell you a lot of the purple strains I have grown are a pain in the ass....real picky.....My point being treat each strain differently......always start with low doses.....plants thrive when you have them in a good environment and feed them what they need......

yeah i plan to start off with 1/4 nute strength and see how it goes from there. I will work my way up untill i feel comfortable with the amount or the plants start showing signs of nute burn or something.

yeah thats what will make it a challenge for me is figuring out what each strain likes and the only way to do it is go for it so i will start 1/4 nutes on all and work with them to find the appropriate amount for each. My environment should be pretty good for them also, i have a 8x8 grow tent, a couple of environmental controllers and lots of other stuff. I just dont plan on running co2, maybe someday but not now.

Yeah add Co2 when everything is dialed in then you can get your moneys worth when using the Co2........
