help me choose a strain

OK so I am about to setup my first grow for financial gain.
I will be growing using 600wat hps lights inside tents. My target is 4kg of dried bud.
I Am struggling to choose a strain I want to choose one and it must be feminsed seeds as I can't get clones.
My research I have came across pineapple kush and lemon haze as strongest contenders.
Qualities I require
Smelly high grade bud
-easy to grow as I am newbie and cant afford failed crop
-preferably short to medium as will be in a tent
-also short grow time
-high yielding also although 500gs per metre sq seems average
I do realise I'm asking for the holy
Grail lol

Northern lights and ak 48 are very forgivable and fast growers, of course it always depends on the grower but they're very easy growing , just my 2c.

Thanks! I tried northern lights in dam it's good smoke also. What is ak48 like to smoke and does it smell strong. Also which do think yields more

It's smooth kind of earthy fragrance and yes it's smelly during flowering , the potency I'd say both of them are alright pretty much the same THC ammount but of course there's a much up lifting high with ak 48, also I found different Phenotypes(ak 4 , the one that stretches and grows big is the one you're after, long and fat colas which tent to fill in during the last week's ! Now if you ask me about NL I found one small bushy phenotype that really stinks and its covered on trics by the end of flowering, but yea man I got one small ak 48 from seed when I get the chance I'll snap a pic for ya!

Do you hope to yeild 4 kg with ONE 600 watt HPS over the length of a year? Because I hate to burst your financial gain bubble, but there isn't any strain in the world that's producing that for you in a single grow, under one 600 watter. Ma;ybe ten 600 watt lamps...

I might be confused but the answer to your question is 1 pound.

But how could you be less than a pound?

4kg? That's 8.9 pounds. An experienced grower can pull 1gpw+ which would be 600 grams per lamp. A beginner is most likely looking at 1/2 or 3/4 gram per watt. So yeah like ten 600 watters, to pull 4kg.

LOL at the people.making fun of this guy, he clearly said he was gonna be using 600 watt hps lights inside tents, so I'm guessing he's not only using just one light like many of you think lol but I guess anything is possible !

Lol relax guys I plan on running 6 600w hps and one 400hps lights in multiple tents. In Europe we work in kgs which is 36ounces not sure about pounds

Anything can be a high yield if you set it up properly. Veg times matter, pot size matter, genetics matter.

Quality seems to take a hit in proportion to quantity, something I've noticed. What flowing times you looking for?

For instance, I've got Bodhi gear and some MLI. Bodhi gear will yield me just under 2 ounces or just at in my tent under a 3 gallon pot. Same MLI in 3 gallon pot will yield me over 3 ounces under my 600 watt hps. The bodhi gear I know and will be higher quality.

But the answer is about a lb

I think you should check out "Money Maker" as a strain, medical quality, feminised, easy to grow, and huge yeilds, out of a medium sized plant, you can look it up at herbies seeds to get the specifics, I have not grown these myself but plan on doing a grow with them soon, hopefully someone here can give some firsthand knowledge on this strain, I was also looking at the heavyweight fruit punch from there also. both these strains are very popular, and would/should sell fast. then there is always the blue dream strain which is always popular and in demand on the street.

About .4535 of a Kilo

I'd say a big bud cross like b.bud x white widow, blue dream crosses, and skunks. But I'm not sure what strains are popping in Europe though.

1 pound = 16 ounces (448grams dealer's pound- but a real pound is 453.6 grams) and typically sold as dealer's pound. So a kg is about 2.23 pounds.

God bud from the depot yields well plus you order twelve beans and usually they give 15 fem. Real Good indicia to grow.

You want stretchy strains that don't require a lot of veg or huge moms IMO. Unless you're cool with going balls out maximum numbers of plants. Really you will get the best yield running shit load of clones - the more you can jam into a space the better basically. But you also look to exponentially (in a lot of cases) increase the amount of trouble you will get into.

Sat/Indica F1 hybrids are going to be your best bet though end of the day.

AK47 from Serious sorta sounds up your alley.

Any of the hybrids from PeakseedsBC will work for your purposes. Maybe not the Timewarp, but the others should do the trick.

Anesthesia is a good stretchy indica dom that yields a lot and is easy as hell to grow. From Breeders Choice on Sannies site. I'd look for the herijuana dominant pheno, doesn't yield quite as much but very strong smoke. Skunk dom tend to be kind of heady and different. They get boring after a while (skunk phenos) but it's nice initially.

Killingfields yields a shit load. Requires hunting to find a winning plant though and generally takes 10 weeks or more to flower (stretches nice though so you don't have to veg them much).

The more veg you have to do the worse your long term yields are going to be relative inputs. You could after all be using the veg space for something else.
