Help me build a led =to a 1000watt hps

Please guys Ive always been a hps guy but would like to build one... So here a few things I want to know.... Which or the best cobs/stripes and what is the best way to build a light equivalent to 600/1000watt hps I wanna be able to put 10 to 15 plants a time... PLEASE HELP ME OUT GUYS

I couldn't begin to explain how to do a DIY LED but for now there are loads of links in the search bar also pdfs on were to buy equipment and even how to put it together.

Thanks guys fir the speedy response but I am glue less to the lanuage of led... I wanted to use Cree cbx 3590 x4 and maybe 2 f series Samsung with 1 uv blaster...... What modules should I use and what will it be replacing in comparison to a hps... One more thing how should I set it up what modules should I use and what lumans.....? HELP

If you're trying to match the intensity, penetration, and spectrum of 1000w HPS with LED, I'd suggest 6 HLG QB96's run at 130watts each for a total of 780watts. Total cost = around $650 to $700, plus an hour of your time to plug it together.

If you are clueless with language of LED why are you wanting to build one? Buy one made or watch the hundreds of videos or read the forums to get less clueless on it. You want someone to custom make you a step by step?


There are loads of things out there on this subject, if it highly intimidates you to watch the videos or search and learn I would recommend you buy a premade light already together or a partial DIY kit from a number of manufacturers.

I asked all this stuff of someone here and I said it much less intelligently than you, you have to educate yourself about electronics then read up what's what, I wish you luck here and I hope some peeps help you. I bought a HLG QB 135 and it was self assembly, the only trouble with this can be the cost DIY yourself and learning saves you a packet
