well let me start by saying that i have been growing for a few years now and i have had many successful grows but i am stumped on a new room that i have built .
I HAVE (4) MAGNUM XXXL 8" hoods in a 11x11 room ,i have (2) 8" inline fans cooling the lights ,i have a can 8" fan ontop of my can 150 filter exhausting out of my room ,and i have a 6" inline fan bringing fresh outside air in ,remember its 30 -45 degrees outside when i run my lights, all my ducting is kink free and everything is sealed up nice,my room looks like something out of hightimes mag i have o.c.d so i like stuff to be perfect ,but the problem is that my temps are rising to 84-88 degrees when i do my test runs anybody have any ideas

hey los0420,are you cooling your lights with air from outside of your room?and is your charcole filter near the top of you room.i run my fresh air fan all the time 24 -7 and i run my exhaust on a timer every 45 minutes it comes on and stays on
for 45 minutes,i run two 1000 w xxx8 hoods in a 9 x 11 and had the same problem then i stsrted venting my light with outsid air well atleast from the atic, and it cooled my room by 15 degrees,is an ac unit out of the ?

Yeah I am by no means an expert but 4000 watts in what sounds like a dorm room sized grow will probably need some more cooling than just fans.

If you're venting your lights with outside air and back outside, you may need larger inline fans. You have about 1000 cubic feet to exhaust, whats the CFM of your 8 inch fan? 700? Less with the carbon filter. You may need the 8 inch for intake and get a 12 for exhaust. If it's below 50 outside, I bet the temps would be more than fine then ;)
