Help make my closet grow, GROW!

OK, here is the deal. I have a 3x3x6.5 closet which i am turning into my flower room. I bought a 600 watt HPS with an aircooled hood and i am going to hook up a 6inch 440cfm inline fan to the ductwork and then vent it out the side of my closet up towards the top of the closet. I dont plan on using anything for the smell because it isnt too much of an issue. My plan is to leave one end of the air cooled hood open and only have the other side hooked up to the inline fan and out my closet. I am going to make the closet door have maybe an inch space at the bottom so when the inline fan is running it will allow for air exchange. I also plan on growing 9 plants in 5 gallon buckets. they fit perfectly ! i made my own soil with everything in it is available at home depot. I used 6 cubic feet of premium potting soil, 3 cubic feet of peat moss, 1.5 cubic feet of humus and manure mixture, a bit of epsom salt, dolomite lime, perlite, and bone and blood meal. I just want to know what all you pros think about this setup. I'll probably throw a small 6inch fan inside the closet for air circulation as well. This will be my first grow and i want to do the damn thing right. If you read anything that has you scratching your head then i would like to hear why. thank you all. oh yea, the first 9 will b scummy bagseed lol, but after first harvest my super lemon haze and white widow clones, should have enough vegetative growth for me to cut out some clippings for a better grow the next time. would love to hear from you all, TY and peace out :leaf:

I'm far from a pro but if your only running 1 600w I don't think you need a 440CFM inline. We have a 725CFM fan that is cooling 4 lights and it keeps them cold to the touch on the side and very cool on the glass. I would say cut down on your cost and get a smaller inline unless you already got the other one.

I say stay with the large fan and use a speed control. Rool of thumb for ventilation : always have the capacity to move twice the air you think you're going to need.

If you're going for nine plants you'll want to down-size your pots..With bulky 5Gal buckets in a 3x3 footprint you'll be bitching about moving them around and maintaining constantly. That area will be just enough for those buckets.
