So last week I took some cuttings from my plants before I threw them into flower. This is the 3rd round of cuttings I've taken and I've never had this issue before, but it looks like almost all of my new clones have stem rot! But I'm not sure.
Here's what I clone in, a simple bin from Ikea with plastic wrap to keep it nice and humid under a CFL light.
...and here's a shot of how the rest look.
This is the 1 clone in the batch that looks like it will root one day, nice and healthy like all of my others.
they almos all have these stem bumps. Like weed herpes or something
...and it snaps right off! Note the brown discoloration.
So is it stem rot? If so, what can I do? can I try to cut them away from the root and try to re rapid-rooter them? Are they lost causes who need to be killed off? What are my options at this point?
