Help! Last step, confusing.

Hi everyone im new to this forum hoping to get some help, but anyway i already grown several and flower and dry and smoke... The problem i have over and over is my weed is not very potent. It would take me a whole blunt to get at a more than buzz high. So what am i doing wrong? I could point some stuff i might did wrong or having trouble with.

The thing i probably did wrong is harveat early?(it was 8 week into flowering, and i dis use the magnifying glass)

Didnt cure/dry it coorrectly?( i just cut it off and hang it dry for a week and jar it and freeze it)

Oh yeah i also have one thing to add, the weed smell very potent but after i cut it and dry it the smell just disappear and smell like grass.

If anyone can help please and very appreciated.

are you harvesting to early or it could be your waiting to long
when curing its best done in the dark thc degrades in light could bealot of things

I not sure if i flower it too long because when i harvest it the white hair was still white only less than half of it turned brown.

you're harvesting it too early.. are you looking at the trichromes turn cloudy?

yeah you need to get yourself a jewellers loupe or a hand microscope need to check your trichs not the hairs they'll either be cloudy or amber some harvest when they are 70/30 etc depends what stoned you like

When i harvest mine i watch for 25% amber trichs rest cloudy obviously and i look for receded hairs good desnse buds. there can and most of the time are some white hairs still but most have changed

What the others have said, but also on the cure, you don't want to freeze it. It will not cure properly. Also the grass smell is from an improper cure. Research curing on here and you'll be amazed at the different techniques and the way its done properly. Good luck

Yea, its happened to me also. trashed a good batch of trainwreck. You really have to let it dry good. then dry it some more.
I let it hang till I get a good snap like most people then I cut the buds off and keep them in large paper bags for a couple days. I jar them after that but if you dont let it dry all the way before sealing it you get that cut grass smell. The chlorophyll has not broken down enough.
