7 days ago i purchased 6 white rhino clones, i potted them in soil straight away and put them in my tent, i recently bought a new timer which i set to 18/6 but have now just realised i done the timer wrong and my plants have been under 24 hours of constant light, they seem fine and have been growing well so i was wondering will this do them any harm?

will it now be ok to switch to 18/6 once i work out how to use the timer.
Thanks RIU :joint:

Some people swear by running lights 24/7, especially auto growers. I once read an artical written by Ed Rosenthal that talked about plants maturing quicker with a 24 hour light cycle through veg, so that you can flower a healthier plant on a short vegging cycle. Guess it really depends on how long you're going to veg. If you plan on vegging for 8 weeks, I would go with an18/6 cycle. If you only wanna veg for 4 weeks, I'd stick with the 24/7 cycle. Good luck.

Yeah men I veg on 24/0. keeps me from having to worry about temps when the lights are out in the winter. and in my experience they grow faster.

I agree with chemdog, much less temp fluctuations, and possibly stronger growth. So my vote is for 24/7, but then again im only running T5's so the consumption is negligible.
