HELP Is this nute Burn Or Heat Burn

can't tell from that pic. Oftentimes they look very similar, however heat burn will usually be more widespread, whereas the plant will tend to store excess nutes all in one place, so usually nute burn will start on one leaf or just a section of leaf. Also nute burn tends to slowly evolve and heat burn tends to happen relatively fast. If anything that pic would make me think heat because of how it looks like it's curling.

what I would suggest is to get a thermometer (or better yet one of those infrared thermometers from radioshack) and find out what the temp around the tops of the plants are. Just keep your light as close to the plants as you can without exceeding the temps you want (usually I try to stick for anything under 85, but closer to 78-80 is what most people say is ideal). If you can run the 250w, then do, but realize it will add heat, so if you have to back off the 600 much because of it, then you're better off without it. also the 250w might be a good side light to help improve penetration. Again, look at your temps, and if you have room you could adjust your lights to better illuminate your plants.

I would be more concerned about the temps. With a 600w it's probably getting pretty hot in there. How high are your lights above your plants? What ventilation do you run?

the lights are about 1-2 feet above the tops of the plants and they are in a slide inbuilt wardrobe so i just leave the doors open
