Help!! is my plant budding early?PICS

so here is the story. i started germinating on Nov 7 but for a while all my plants were stunted b/c there wasn't enough light. i finally got a good setup working about a month ago, so they are only about as big as a month old plant, but in reality they are nearing 3 months of age. just recently they started developing white hairs, like bud would look like. this threw me off b/c i havent changed them to 12/12. they are still on 18/6. i dont know if it is bud or not. can anyone tell me what this is. is it bud or is it normal. please help me, this is my first grow and i dont wanna mess up this far in.

it's called "pre-flowering" and it happens when the plant is near the end of the veg stage or has the right hormones to flower (which is when the plant is 2-3 months old). lots of growers don't 12/12 until preflowers appear. ...

google it and you'll see good pics. not sure how long you can keep vegging after they appear but your plant is wanting to flower.

i though the same thing as u the first time i saw preflowers they just do that to let u know that its a female in veg mode!

thats great news! i thought my plants were screwed up. i'm just gonna start them on 12/12 lights then. i'm so glad, i have 3 females out of 4. hopefully yhe 4th will turn out to be a lady
