Help installing cooltube

Hello community! I recently purchased a cooltube off of Azon. I came in the mail in as far as I know perfect condition (no broken glass, etc). It however did not come with a parts list or any instructions to assemble the small reflector wings that came with it. There's the cool tube itself, a pair of small 2" wings, and a pair of what seems like clamps but I can't figure it out!

The wings attach to the clamps with bolts or screws.

The the wings and clamps just fit over the cool tube.

Ohhhh! So they just kind of dangle the wing over the glass! I thought it was a kind of pressure clamp. Thanks!
