Just wanted to know... If anyone could help with some of the basic rules of growing potted plants outdoors in So. Cal. from seedliings and seeds to the harvest.
Just stuff Like the stages they go thru, how much sun, or is there periods of 24 light or 24 hour darkness??(being in the dark) ?? What to expect, or when they may start to bud.
I have a VERY LARGE vegtable garden and have been growing my own food, coffee and tobacco... soo I do have a green thumb, lol- but to my understanding these particular plants need a totally different care than my veggies.
I have several 12 inch to 24 inch plants that i inherited like 6 weeks ago,
I believe the seeds came from feminized white widow, but not sure yet.
I have them potted in pots and used a mixture of miracle grow moisture control, perlite, and a little shredded coconut substraint,The plants seen to be growing well, no spider mites, no discolor, they are good deep green color and smell great.
I put them in the sun at sunrise and bring them inside at sunset.
I usually water every other day, but not to much so the roots grow longer and stronger.
Any advice or help or links, would be soooooo appreciated.
OHHHHH by the way my name is Kerry, I am new here and it is very nice to meet you all.!
