More Calcium and Magnesium nitrate in a product that already has it = No big deal, no precip.Like it says, I was rushing, and I accidently poured about 1/8 to 1/4 solo cup of cal mag into my overdrive bottle. Is the overdrive still useable or is it now shot?
Drive down the road and take a 20$ bill and throw it out the window. That is what you would be doing if you dump the overdrive. If you know how much cal/mag you're dumped in, calculate it out and use it. Just feed it more diluted. Say half or so.
I'd tend to agree with the Hydro guy. Life can survive in some of the most hostile places so a nute bottle is not a far stretch. I have once found mould growing on the inside of the cap of a bottle of HG multizyme that I had been careless with.ok, well too late. i bought a new one. but i still have the old bottle. i guess ill keep it around and use it when i run out. the guy at the hydro shop freaked out when i told him i pour the nutrients into a solo cup, then measure it out from there. Once i am done, if there is still some left in the solo cup, i simply pour it back into the nutrient bottle. He said this will cause mold and fungus to grow inside the nutrients. I find this hard to believe, and i never had a problem over my first 2 grows. What do you guys think? bs?
^ unfortunately it was a $48 dollar bill. damn hydro shops.
