HELP Hooking up Case Fan to AC Adapter

I need help hooking up Case Fans to AC Adapter.

my two fans are 80 mm / 12V (0.16A)

what kind of ac adapter do i need? Does it need to be 12V(will that work better), or what about 9V or 6.5V?

Does the output of the adapter have to be AC or DC?

Yes does the output on the Adapter need to be in DC or AC?

Output 12 vdc @ 400ma or greater would be ideal.

I have a cord but I don't know if it is AC or DC... it doesn't say..

INPUT : 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz 0.5(0,5)A
OUTPUT : 12V 1.0(1,0)A
