I AM ON THE HOME STRETCH AND UH OH......I THINK I HAVE A MAG DEF AND IT IS LOCKING OUT CALCIUM, AMONG OTHER THINGS.


Nutrients:
Fox Farm Big Bloom
Fox Farm Tiger
Bioweed
Biothrive Grow

my soil mix is 50%-roots organic, 50% light warrior for base... I added some epsoma plant tone for N and some EWC and HUMMUS to the mix.

I am in 2 gallon smart pots

From seed straight to flower....... probably day 55 total, 35 of flower.

No nutrients for first 2 weeks and then big bloom until i flipped to 12/12. then some tiger bloom

Tomorrow morning I plan to mix tap water and big bloom, and flush the plants that are showing deficiency. The water will be ph at 6.3

Hopefully they will hold water for a whole day, and then the next time i feed them will be:

5ml biothrive grow
15ml of big bloom
10ml of tiger
5mil bio weed....


Please let me know what you think, I don't want to flush all my nutes out, and have my plants-- have a shitty finish, but i don't want my deficiencies to go nuts and completely destroy my grow in the last few weeks..

please voice your opinions and guidance.......

the pics are fucked from the hps, but the 5th pic has rust spots on the leaf and they are much greener than appears in the pics........ check out pic 4, the back right, tall plant and the leaves, you can see the rust spots(kinda)

if Mg is the problem, just add some epsom salts.

Flush complete on 1 plant.... since there is only 3 weeks left I am gonna let the other one finish...

full batch of nutrients today for the rest of them.

Epsom salts will be ordered for next grow.......

Listen to Scrog. Epsom salts are a cheap, quick fix for Mg deficiency. You can pick them up at Walmart cheaply. Best of all you can add them without hurting. If it's a Mg deficiency you'll see it fixed if not then it does no harm. I'd go get them now and test. I would not wait for the next grow.

For my next grow I would order Botanicare Cal-Mag it also adds Iron (Fe).

I've been happy with it. Anyway I am a rank newbie in the middle of my second grow and struggling with canopy control. Funny NFT is easy it's canopy control that seems to elude me. So listen to Scrog he knows.

Dont start imagining things now trying to fix a problem that isnt there and in turn creating a real problem. All i can see is large fan leaf yellowing near finish, nothing to panic about. Make sure the pot is bigger next time.

There are def rust spots showing now, and they have even started on my healthy plant. I think you are right about a bigger pot. I have been watering at 6.3-6.5 and my soil is mostly roots, does this mean I am actually in a soil-less medium and my ph should be lower. I have to water every day and sometime twice. One plant is way ahead of the others and is looking like its gonna come down soon. Rust spots everywhere so I am flushing again this morning and then giving my plants one good dose of nutrients when they dry again, and hopefully finish them off with water. I can't get my plants to finish right, every fucking time around week 6 of flower shit goes south. I understand that plants face during the end of flower but I just I feel like they are doing more than a little fade. I added epsoma plant tone in the mix this time to give it some N throughout but now I think I am having problems with K.

I imagine they are gonna fade even more after this flush but for this strain the last 5 days are the most important, it is when they blow up one last time, so I am gonna hit them at least one more time to get some soluable nutrients in the soil and hopefully have a strong finish. Thanks for everything, next time I am gonna give supersoil, transplanting, and tea a try. No more nutes and this guess and check and wonder if my plants are getting what they need. Super soil should retard proof my op and then maybe I'll be growing some real dank......
