o snap i have these little babies that are 13 days old something is wrong i dont know what i use 2 four foot fluorescent about 9 inches from the top water them about everyother day some look good but with brown crust on them pics are here help me please

they are just some of the little gals that need help all in all i have about 30 so i need help badly

so many problems.... 4 ft florecents are not ideal if you go floro get cfls and get the light within 2-4 inches of the plants tops or they will just streatch and fall over. you water em too much and if thers any nutes in that soil that could be a problem too. you need to do some research b4 you jump in

ahh man i had them in grow cube then moved to fox farm ocean mix i have a 1000w hps is that to early for them it is my first time.
and all these seed are rando any ways i have all my good ones still

the hps would be fine just keep it far away until they grow up a bit. only water when the pot feels lite or when you poke your finger in to the second knuckle and feel no moisture. i live for randome bagseed its all i grow and have for many many years

overwatering is the cause of most problems... look up uncle ben's moisture stress thread

fluros are ok but you need to keep them within 1 INCH of the tops. Thats how i vegged mine with good results.

ok i hooked up my hps maybe 5 and a half feet from tops temp is at 84 fan going pray for my girls.!

you want blue light for veg the hps puts off alot of red which is for bloom i suggest using cfls with 6700k like a white light and rebury down your plants about 1/2 inch from the bottom leaves so they grow stronger mH lights are a blue white light aswell

i was told my 4 foot flouresents would be good enough but im running my 1000w hps temp is about 90 light is about 5 feet from top i might just go get some grwo cubes and try for take two.i thank you all for your help and will prolly need more

mr. snott. if you had to choose between a 4 ft floro and a hps what would you do...... go for the hps it will veg the plants fine, yes the blue spectrum is best for veg but if you are gonna buy one or the other go with the hps.... i would suggest a conversion bulb b4 cfl's any day prolly cost just as much after you buy socketts power strips extension cords and cfl bulbs....... good point on transplanting and burying the streatched stem


i have veged with hps a bunch of times throughout the years and no ill effects and so have manny others. i would suggest a conversion bulb if you have the cash for it. or just veg with hps it would be fine

ur ONLY problem is ur watering wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much! bro put them back under the 4ft floros and stop watering all crazy seedlings do best with less light and moist soil NOT wet...u sud be watering with a spray bottle thats it! check this post out https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/137538-online-growing-school-101-a.html
