Started my seedling in 50l Bubbleponics tank in a1.2x1.2x2.0 tent running 600w hps at 60% about 700mm from seedling.
I started with 1/4 nutes as the first true leaves appeared, should i have waited longer? Could this harm seeding?
She has been in there 2 days now looking ok but geez this is stressful lol

There is a saying about hiking the AT. Never go too far, too fast, too soon. I'm sure that has to have some relevance to seedlings.

You need at least 2 feet away seedlings so put light all the way to the top and put your lighting on 10 % and that's only gonna work for about 3 weeks seedlings and cuttings don't need a lot of light your best bet would be going to Lowes and get a 4 pack of 26 watt col 6500k for 9$ and put one or 2 max lights in there also at Lowes they have a 3x2x5 wardrobe tent for 20 $ and buy the panda film plastic that has white on one side and black on the other and cover tent with that make sure you cut 2 squares on the bottel of tent to allow air in and out and cover the hole with a screen type mesh or use the fabric that u put on swifter mop

I wouldn't dim hid. It changes spectrum and is hard on the bulbs.

You can start them under full power. Seedlings start under the sun all the time.
