I was watering my plants with 6.9 PH water and they starting having ph problems. So I soaked the rockwool cubes in 5.5 ph water overnight to bring the ph down. They did good for a few days then after I watered them with 5.6 ph water a few of them started drooping the next day. Im not sure whats really wrong with them. I don't know if I can save them or not. Hopefully they don't die. Someone's expert advice would be great. I am new at all of this.

you should have each plant in its own cube. is that a bubbleponic system? or are you growing in soil? if it is bubbleponic you should be watering - the roots should be submerged in the oxygenated water.

whay type of lighting and nutes are you using, it looks like a bit too much water, not enough light to help the plant up take the water. you also should have planted in separate cubes, your gonna be kicking yourself later. also, how do you know you were having PH problems this soon after sprouting? a PH of 6.9 would have been acceptable, 7 is completely neutral, however cannabis does like it a bit on the acid side, you will be safe with a range of anywhere between 6 & 7 any below or any above, THEN you should think about adjusting the PH. but be very gentle to your babies, the up and dow of the PH and the overwatering is unnecessary stress, the greatest virtue of all is patience, bive your babies a chance to mature a bit before you start making to many adjustments. good luck I hope this helps!

I am using around 160 watts of flouro light and no nutes yet. The reason I used a lower ph was because rockwool is more on the alkaline side. When I first bought the cubes I soaked them in 6.9 PH which ended up being to high because a few days after they were put in the cubes I squeezed some water out of them to test the ph of the water and it read above 8 on the ph meter. So I ended up soaking them again in 5.5 ph water to bring it down. Even after I soaked the cubes overnight the plants still seemed to do fine until a few days later when I watered them again with 5.6 ph water. The next day after I watered is when a few started drooping. So I am not sure if I over watered or the ph is to low. Is there anyway to fix the plants that are drooping? I really appreciate your advice. Thanks

rockwool hold allot of water, when my plants were that small i only had to water them every 4-5 days..... but what are you going to do when they get bigger and you have 4 plants in 1 rockwool cube!?!

I am going to break them apart and put them in hydroton. Is that a bad idea? I just need to know what to do to fix them if I can.

I would say break them now or else your going to destroy whatever root system you've built up. I would say don't water anymore, wait a couple days or until the cubes feel light and dry, you want to almost neglect you plants of water that will help the recovery process. do not by any means let the cubes completely dry out, your looking for barely damp, should take about 3-4 days. right now I would wait to break the cubes apart until it gets dry, you don't want to stress them to much at once. after they start to show signs of health, CUT them apart with the sharpest anything you can find, that will prevent any unnecessary damage to the roots

ganj father is right. get them apart asap. what is ones a male u just ganna leave dead dying roots in with the other live female roots? each plant needs its own pot. weed loves to have lots of root room. i measure how much water is in my rockwool cubes by picking them up and feeling how heavy the cube is. after a while u can tell how much water is in the cube just by feeling the weight. just wait till the cube dries out and cut it apart like he said. its always better to underwater than to overwater. its not good either but its better to underwater cause all u gotta do to fix that is water.

just want to tell you that I have been doing this a long time and rockwool is hard to use if you do not have the luck of haveing good water. Evan if you soak them it takes a week or to for them to straighten out.Thats if you moniter the ph daily. I would try just a pot with the coco rocks to start with it works and you can practice on the side with the rockwool
