Hey guys I recently brought my outdoor girl inside she's been in about a week today I noticed something odd on her lower branch later inspection I found 5 green caterpillars inside my bud sites couldn't fucking beleive it!!! I've check the entire plant not found anymore going to wait till lights go off at 8 and get a torch out and inspect do you think I'll find more buried deep inside her or will this problem go away now I've found them? Like I say it was only 2 lower branches I found them in and I inspected every fucking bud not that I wanted to I know I might have stressed her out a little but I needed to check her over couldn't beleive when one popped out the bud site inside the pistols! As you can see they caused a bit of fucking damage the buds don't look like any of the others fucking proper pissed me off tbh. I now hate cattaplieras more than anything

Get some Bacillus Thuringiensis. Monterey B.T. is the brand I use and it works great on caterpillars.

They will hide in the buds and eat them from the inside out, leaving copious amounts of caterpillar shit in their wake.
I wouldn't take any chances. If you found that many, I'm sure there's more lurking.

Very easy to spot at lights out using a black light, as they fluoresce. I use an Esco, though you could just as easily put a bulb in a bedside lamp.

It looks like it's not available in the UK unless you're a professional of some sort. It has to do with the expense of the registration process in the UK. Here's a link a found that explains why.

Looks like you'll have to order it online or maybe ask at your local garden shop if they recommend and alternative.

Good luck, and keep picking them off in the meantime. I think you caught it early enough to take care of it.

I would of suggested BTI aswell. Here in AUS it's legal.
However another good fix is getting a spray bottle, diced up some habanero peppers and garlic(MAKE YOUR EYES ARE COVERED) and leave it some hot water for about 30 minutes. Sift the peppers into a spray bottle, add teaspoon of biodegradable dishsoap. Spray about twice a day for the life cycle of the pest you need to get rid of.

Very effective against soft bodied insects, pepper is harmless to the plant
