Help Get Cannabis Card In Cali

k so im going to try to get a cannabis card in cali for chronic back pain im not going to the doctors first just to the apointment what do you think the chances of me getting one my friends day its easy

i saw a billboard the other day that said " Get your medical marijuana card today !!!" and it had a number to call
to bad i didnt take the number down

but yea i dnt think its hard at all to get your card in cali
my friend got his and he never has seen a doctor in his life
im thinking about getting mine too
just so i can be legal when i have weed on me

First, try and find a doc that believes in cannabis or that a friend went to. Go in there and tell him/her about your back problem and you have a difficult time falling asleep. Tell them when you smoke, the back pain eases and you sleep fine.

Do you need the card or a recomendation?

but i also suffrer from insomnia and lack of apetite when im not medicated
so hopefully everything goes good let me know how it goes ..

Also tell them that you already smoke but would like to do it "legally".

Go to a Dr that is listed as a Cannabis friendly Dr. You can find them on internet or other, they say they give recommendations for pot on their ads. I had no medical records of pain or other and got recommended no probs. Do not go to a regular Dr. as they may put you thru stuff, and not recommend you.

just get a LA Weekly or Oc Weekly if your in So Cal. look at adds in the back, there are doctors who advertise there with a guarantee saying if you don't qualify for a Rec the consultation is free, so it's no money out of your pocket. Then you just try another. You can always go with insomnia, depression, migraines, a.d.d all sorts of stuff.

i h8 the uk .. i have a chronic illness called chrones disease.. and artherites , and weed help ten times better than any shitty tablet the drs ere give u.. im facing prison cos of sorting ppl out 2 make it cheaper 4 me 2 medicate.... the british goverment suck big fat arse... wankers!!

Well to get the actual card, first you have to look at what county your in and if they participate in the card program. if they do, then you need to go to your counties website or call them and find out what forms you need to fill out. If you want to get your card, I think you have to have your rec first. You have to have some sort of medical proof for the card, it's not as easy as getting a rec.

Here there are countless docs/clinics that you just go to, pay the fee and get the papers (no cards here).

im by there is 420 evaluations good?
so your saying i should go to the doctors or just to 420?

well if your in the sac area they don't offer the cards. you will have to settle with only being able to get your rec.

In california you can walk in and out within 10 minutes. I had requested a history report from my hospital but the Doc said "dont worry about it" met with him the same day and walked out with the recommendation.
As far as "THE CARD" goes.. my county can kiss my ass. WTF would i even want to register with them. I would rather nobody knew and only use my recommendation if i ever get asked for it.

I got mine in Sac ..Dr B Allen i think is his name off the top of my head. He charges 40.00 and has a very easy app process. I recommend him.

Is it possible to get a rec card (im guessing re allows only small amounts) , if ur visiting or traveling the u.s. ?

it should be just fine but if you have any serious medical condition it helps greatly they throw me a card every time but i got a great reason to have one

There are two different routes to go to be legal in california (not sure about other states).

You either get a doctors reccomendation (a rec) which is good for either 6 months or a year depending on the doctor. You can use this at any dispensary and it gives you the rite to grow 6 mature, 6 immature generally (numbers based on county and city laws). When the year or 6 months is up, usually getting it renewed is as easy as going back to that same doc and telling them your problems still remain.

Or, you can get the card. The card is given out by counties as a recognition that you have a legitimate reason to use Medical Marijuana. It's the same as a rec, but you don't have to renew it (at least not as often if at all). You do how ever go onto a list compiled by the county and given to the state of all Medical Marijuana Card holders. So if your worried about that, then just stick with the rec, it's just as good. If you are planning on starting a business or becoming a state recognized legal grower then you want your card; other wise just get your rec.
