Friend of mine running a recirc dwc with C02 at 1200ppm and he ran low ec of 0.6 after problems showed and with now signs of improvement hes upped feed thinking with the size of plants and C02 +1000w led they need a high level of food. Any insight to whats up. I was originally think calmag but now thinking its a cluster of things. Cheers for the advice

A foliar spray of epsom should help or at least rule out Mg deficiency.Light could be too close also.

Thanks for the replies mate. He has the lumatek 1000w pro dimmed to 500w. Not sure what umols at canopy tho. Would putting epsom salts in his dwc feed be good also?

They may want to check their ph, temp, humidity, and air movement as well as making sure they are getting enough calmag and nutes. Are the roots healthy?
That's the thing about hydro it is unforgiving and you have to have everything perfect, not just light intensity and ppm.

I'd bet your light intensity is too high. Is this your first grow? May want to just go over a basic beginner course. A shot of your whole set up would be helpful.
I'd say,
1. Your light too intense.
2. Your temps are too high
3. Your ph is off
4. Your fan isn't blowing the leaves around for transpiration
5. Your humidity is off
6. Your nutes ratio or quantity is off.
7. Your roots are unhealthy.
:bigjoint:
All that work and hydro still don't hold a flame to organic soil grown. Lol.

Thanks for the reply mate, its for a friend. He runs a sealed c02 grow room. Roots are very healthy and white. E.c was probably low at 0.8 for the size of them when you consider 1000w led and c02.

Hi mate. I’ll look into that, never heard of it before not questioning you but how do you determine that? :)
The way your leaf edges are curling upwards like that combined with the "blistered" texture of the leaf surfaces. Leaves can curl in a similar way when humidity is too low but they usually stay relatively smooth like a healthy leaf and dont get the blistered look. Especially the way these leaves in this area look....highly suspect IMO.
