Help! First time grower.

Hey everyone. Very new to this so please go easy on me. I'm about just over 4 weeks into flower and my leaves are browning/yellowing and withering away. Hasn't reached buds yet but I'm concerned I'm about to lose my harvest due to inexperience. I've attached a few pics. I am using super soil with no added nutes. Ph when watering is kept around 6.5.

If you’re going to continue to ph your water in your super soil I would change it to 6.6-7.0.

Have your given any other nutrients?

I’m Not familiar with that soil I cant help much there.

Okay sure thing. Will make sure I don't lower the PH too much. Not using any other nutes as the soil write up says you don't need to but I might just be ignorant on that one. Thank for your reply

Plant for the majority looks really good. It’s only on some. I wouldn’t worry to to much. Where’s your water coming from? Do you know the ppm of it?

Did the soil manufacturer say to ph your waterings?
I don't think so. A friend of mine used the same soil and he had a great harvest and he was the one who told me to PH to 6.5. I'm not in contact with him anymore so not sure if he had the same problems I'm having. I just woke up this morning and realised it was getting to the point where I might need some help from someone who knows what they are doing or I might lose my harvest.

Thanks for the reply I'm using tap water that has a PH of 7.3 so I'm just lowering that to 6.5. it's been working great until now.

So I grow soil with organic amendments, I do not ph my water and it’s right at your level. However I do filter my water with an inline RV filter to get out the chlorine and chloramine and bring down the dissolved solids in my water. My tap ppm is almost 300 which is way too hard to use on its own. Your water should be buffered by your soil so no need to ph. If your growing organic you need to filter that tap water.

I agree with most of this. I think filtering your water is unnecessary in organic.

Also might want to try to brew a compost tea to help get your microbes/ beneficial bacteria back in check. Organic supper soil are very beneficial to plant growth and the right recipe is very easy to get results. But the right water is very important

Okay will have to start filtering. You think that's why the leaves are turning brown? Thanks for your help! I'm finding out how clueless I truly am but appreciate all the info so I don't make the same mistakes again

Water is the medium to help bring the food. If it’s full of dissolved solids it will lock out your food and also chlorine and chloramine will kill off you beneficial organisms that you want to keep alive to provide the food. Everyone’s situation is different. Just adding my experience. Filter that shit!
