Hey, this is my first grow, and I need help. My plant has been going good until recently. I've got it in a small pot. Its the only one I have. I've used regular soil, and have been told it has slowly releasing plant food in it. I've watered it when I noticed the top was dry, maybe a little a day if I thought it needed it. I might have over watered but I'm not sure. I have no way to check the ph, and no other nutrients for it with no way to get any. Recently, the leaves have started to droop. The very first two leaves have already died a while ago, but the rest of the plant was doing good until now. It is drooping, I found another dead leaf on teh bottom so i pulled it. now, they're all drooping and one of the leaves has a weird brown line in it and now some leaves are getting little white spots on them. Help, anyone know whats wrong and what I can do to fix it?? Also, I still dont know if its female or male. It's about 4 -6 weeks old, not sure. But, the top leaves had some trichomes on them. So, I think its gonna be female. Any ideas?Snapshot_20100714_1.jpgSnapshot_20100714.jpgSnapshot_20100714_2.jpg

Come on. Surely some one knows how to help out a newb. I've kept it in the sun from morning until it sets. I am in florida. So, it rises maybe about 7 and dont set until around 7:30 or so...It gets fairly hot here too. I dont know what the problem is. Someone help!

You need a larger pot and make sure it has holes in the bottom. Water until some comes out the bottom, then allow to dry a couple of inches down. You'll end up watering every four days or so.

Not smart to put your pic on here but thats your business. your plant could be suffering over watering and heat stress. try cutting back if your soil is moisture controlled don't water it until the top 2 inches of soil dry out. and partially shade it if your putting it outside.:peace:

Thanks for the info, but, I dont have any bigger pots. thats all I had. So, it has to stay there. And, I cant transplant it into the ground, because there is no where to do that, plus, florida soil is all basically sand...And, I've tried to water it until water comes out of the bottom, but it dont. I use a big fiji water bottle to keep my water in, and I've used about 3/4 of teh bottle, and still no water came out of the bottom...any ideas? Also, since I have to leave it in that little pot, will that kill it when it tries to get bigger?

you really need to scrounge around for a bigger container, it doesn't have to be a flower pot. Three or five gallon paint buckets do well. Even a small box. You can find something useful behind a home depot in ten minutes.

Lol. thanks, I got it into a bigger pot right now, not much bigger, but bigger. I am going to try to find some soil, then I'll re-plant it into a pretty big pot. But, I need new soil first. With no money, and living in florida, its hard to come by good soil.

thought I'd post to say its doing ok. I've had some leaves on the bottom start to yellow and die, so I pulled them, and about one or two more. Now, its budding and is doing great. If you guys see anything else I should do, just let me know...The first pic shows it budding, the second shows the yellow leaf that I pulled.081010173337.jpg073110162838_01-1.jpg

Yea, I figured it wouldnt like it, plus they said its too small. So, its in a bigger pot now, not much bigger but still bigger. And it doesnt have a weird bottom like that one does.
