HELP! First time DWC issue .

My plants appear to be crisping and getting grey edges . Is this DWC nute burn?

Info :
PH kept between 5.6 and 6
Flora Series currently running 9ml micro 9ml gro 9ml bloom and 8ml cal mag per5Gal bucket , giving me 500ppm.
My ppm was at 850 last week they were fine with high ppm until roots really developed I noticed .

If this is burn , could I still be seeing effects from 3days ago before I changed my res ?

My new goal is to be able to see noticable EC drops each week and adjust nutes accordingly so it stabilizes .

Also I have black lids at hand I’m about to switch them into.

You have multiple deficiencies showing. I would get a handle on your pH for starters...a pH of 5.6 to 6 is a pretty hefty swing. You may also want to check your reservoir temps and be sure your plant's roots are looking bright white..
What would you recommend me allowing my ph to swing between? I heard some drift is good for full range of nute uptake.

Princess Auto pails, nice and cheap good find.
looks like your water level is a little high,1/2"below net pot is good.
ph keep t 5.8.may take some time for it to settle.
Are all these pails connected together?

Thanks man! I actually just picked some black buckets and lids at princess the other day :) sounds good I’ll keep it more steady at 5.8 , and keep the water level a little lower .

I see several problems too.
I have to ask, when did you start feeding.

For now I'd dump the nutes & fill with fresh pH'd water and run it for a couple of days. 1/4 nutes when you feed again.
Check your PPM & pH daily.

Good luck

I started nutes from the beginning , a buddy has been using Lucas formula full strength from seed and his plants look like they are on steroids lol. I figured if he’s running like 1000ppm from seed I could get away with nutes .

850ppm's seems high for plants of that size. What are your temps? I'd cut those nutes back at least until we pin down a cause. My full grown plants take 850. *EDIT* My bad just noticed you said 500 this week. Anyhow, what are your air temps and water temps?

Np , yea I’m gonna keep lowering them until I can see my PPMs are dropping as they drink . Then I’ll know they are eating good ....I think...lol

1000ppm from seed is insane man. I mean, hey if it works for him then great, but I've literally never met a hydro grower who can make a seedling survive on 1000 or anything even in that neighborhood. Don't go from your friends feeding schedule, you'll fry your plants to a fine crisp.

Lol that sounds like a solid plan to me :) Your symptoms remind me of overferting in my own DWC setup, so thats what I'd put my money on!

IMO - Sure some plants can take it, many can't, and damage taken early can lead to problems later in flower (again IMO).
Like above, I never go 1000ppm.
I'm a big believer of not feeding until the cotyledon are beginning to curl/fade, then only 1/4

Plant is plenty big enough for full nutes,if you see no sign of improvment then the 500 ppm is whats causing the def.
edit..so 150ppm calmag 700ppm food 150 ppm tap water ,so 1000 is not out of the norm. This what i use for clones that are rooted.

Definatly noted! Keeping a close eye on them . The clone I made seemed to love 650-700ppm of what ever EC scale my pen uses .

This is 7 days since cutting here :
