Ok just wasn't sure the buds haven't gotten any bigger the last 2 weeks really the trichomes have been all around for 2 or 3 weeks as well

You see all those white pistils(hairs)?
When they change to brown and start receding into the bud , it is time to check trichomes and harvest

9 weeks but the trichs weren't where I wanted them to be and they just started flushing new pistils.
@OP
Did you happen to post on this site when you were getting ready for the 12/12 flip?

No worries, I echo what Herb & Suds said. All the white pistils sticking up are a sign of growth. You don't think they are getting bigger but in reality they are bulking up. Chop early and the buds will be light and fluffy instead of dense like they should be. Good luck bud, pop back to this post and update in 2 or 3 weeks.
Can't remember actually it's either week 6 or 7 on an 8 week flowering strain . ak

Ok staying with my WAG. Eight weeks strain is going to be a 10 weeks. 3-4 weeks.

It makes no difference when you flipped or when you planted. If it is an auto it will flower when and for as long as the plant decides. If it is a photo it will stay in veg for as long as you don't start giving it 12 hours of darkness and when you do it will flower for as long as the plant decides. Plants don't read breeder packs or seed web sites, they just do what they do. Always add a few extra weeks to a breeders claims or at least that's what I do to estimate but in the end, the plants will decide.
