Help! dirty green rockwool, roots growing up possible fungi(pics)

they look like they are ready to transplant....if you cover the top of the pots ((with the plants poking through )) with a lightproof material,,it will stop that mold growing
you could take the wrapping off the side of the rockwool cubes and put them back in the clay,,to let the roots spread out

i just transplanted the algae plant in my backyard bcuz im only planning on keeping the three healthiest
females and as soon as i get some mylar ill put it around the stems

I have had that happen before. I am by far no expert, but it never went below 1/8th of an inch below my rockwool, and it only happened on one out of ten plants. It really didnt seem to effect my plants at all.

I used some H202 in the tank and sprayed a little around the plant and it pretty much went away. Be sure to check your mixture when using H202.

Its fine. It happens all the time right before i tansplant into the system. The green will go away/ wont matter once you cover the rockwool with hydroton or whatever medium you choose. Just keep it up and transplant soon. Just the fact that the roots are growing that much is a good thing! ;) Good luck
