HELP? Didn't final flush my hydro...

Long story short, due to an extended absence and bad timing, I was forced to harvest before flushing for an extended period of time. Anyway, I manacured, and hung for a little over a week. Now my buds are dry and have been curing for about an additional week in jars. When I vape a bud in my volcano, it's awesome! yummy, super potent, and all is well. When I smoke it, however, the taste is harsh, and I'm concerned. Will a longer cure eventually remove the harshness of the smoke? Is there another way to improve the taste?

Will a water cure work after the buds are dry?
