Help, cut dying cola!

So, i topped my plant at about 4 weeks old and it grew two nice thick main colas growing in a v from the main stem coming from the ground.
anyways i believe i had a very serious over fertilization problem because one of these brances started turning dark and actually started snapping, so i cut it off,
. now this branch is still like 7 inches tall, will it grow 2 more branches to replace it, will it still make bud or did i ruin that cola?
your help would be much appreciatied

how far into flowering is the plant if its more the 3 or 4 the the lower buds will get the extra energy and growth you might get a little bud production on your stem

Get some pictures up. We need to have a look. If its still vegging it cant have a cola. A cola is a hench bud. Are you sure the cause was over fertilisation? Have you rectified the issue? If so, as the plant is still vegging, twill recover with the right attention and still produce fine nugs. Consider getting some Epsom Salts if your plants are suffering from your overfertilisation.

okay maybe its not a cola, but it was a very important stem.
and as for the over fert prob, im not noticing any new brown spots
iim gonna try using nutes again tomorrow, if i let water out over night will it be okay for the plant cuz ive been using bottled water for a while?

Pictures speak a thousand words. They are needed for an accurate diagnosis. I assume you are growing out of soil. What soil are you using? How many weeks into veg are you? are you sure that you are/were not over-watering? If you have not over-watered and not given nutrients for ages (which you blatantly haven't) give them a little. If you have been suffering from over-fert you do not need to add any nutrients for some time. In fact forget about any nutrients until your plant have recovered fully and you have been feeding them water oinly for 3 weeks. A couple of weeks into budding is when you want to start some new nutes. Remember, soil contain lots of nutrients, as does plain water. Additional nutrients are often detrimental. What nutes are you using out of interest?

im using regular hydroponic nutes, they say they are for hydroponics only, but people have said it doesnt really, matter, but i also have some general fertilizer but its 20-30-20 compared to the 6-12-4 the hydroponics stuff is

Hydroponic nutes in my opinion are not ideal for soil applications. The Biobizz range I find is very good indeed. As they are organic nutes it is harder to overfertilise. If you have no choice use the hydroponic nutes. Be wary they are more harsh.
