Help choosing a Purple strain!

Im looking for a really good purple strain to run. I want one thats stable with the purple traits, I dont want to have to run 10 just to find one that is actually purple, and I also want one thats still potent as well. I've read through the forums and Im looking at Cannabiogens' Pakistan Chitral Kush or Bohdis' Blockhead Bx. Any advice would be appreciated Im also only wanting Fem seeds, and Ill be ordering from Midweek song so I'm limited to the breeders they carry.

I just got my first order from midweek song, today!
I've always wanted to grow GDP, so I ordered a couple.
So I guess that's what I'd recommend...nevermind, you said fem, sorry.

Thats cool man love midwesk song never had An order take more than 6 days. Ive always wanted to try gdp though. Maybe i will in the future connisouir genetics has it and grand doggy purps in fem i thought about as well

my grapegum strain goes pretty purple near the end. its from ripper seeds. gimmie a few to smoke a pipe and I'll throw up some pics of it. unfortunately I only have bud pics I think.

How many did u run to get the purple pheno and whats the yield and density like? Pretty good price on it a 5 pack fem for 27.68

Love the Grandoggy purps, it's my weed of choice, can't say enough good things about it.

Have you checked out any of in-house genetics work? Dudes pretty new but he's a frost wizard, lots of crosses a few purp and a few fem for a good price but I think mostly U.S banks carry his gear. Thedankteam has a lot of them, since they're stateside you get mail quick n hassle free too. Double Purple Hulk and Purple Animal Kush look like they'd be worth the time.

I went through a purple phase in my life but I must say that there aren't many purples out there that are potent as say an og, chem, or diesel. However some do pack a punch. Here is my list of the stuff that I grew that actually guaranteed purple buds and sometimes leaves:

1. Urkle (clone only purple buds strong high)
2. Grape Ape (clone only strong high)
3. Killing Fields (sold by sannie. He sells fems too. I grew about 5 packs of these and 1 of the packs being feminised. If I had to guestimate, 95% of the plants I had were purple buds. Out of those 95% I have to say like 80% were deep dark purple buds. Great day time high. Just not really a floor you potent strain but decent. The greeen phenos although they are rarer, are more potent. I guarantee you will find some purple budded plants with this strain no matter what the temps in your room are.)
4 DPD - I know jaws has some crosses or did have some crosses with this specimen at one point in time. His crosses with dpd should give you some purple buds with some added potency.
5.Heaths Black Rose
6. Bubba Kush- slow vegger, grows black leaves at the end and sometimes can be purple. Slow vegger like urkle tho.
7. GSC-forum cut. I havent grown it. but the pics that i have seen and the crosses i have seen seems like she dominates and lends some purple.

I second the Sannies killing fields fem seed. You will get a purple for sure. The only good thing was it being purple. Just my opinion.

I bought of five pack of tje grapegum and 3/5 were the purple pheno. apparently I dont the pics of that stuff on this sd card.

its not like a super heavy purple but a lot of the calyxes go purple near the end, enough to make it look greyish from a disrance in a jar.

Plushberry (if you can find it). 2 of the 4 females from a 5 pack were purple/pink.

ive ran querkle many times, the buds turn purple at the end (when cured), i guess that depends on your environment. cooler i think. after so many years im tryng my blackwater seeds, it describes that it turns to dark hue coloration (purplish) will do it on a warm environment. hope to get a keeper

I 100% agree with @smashcity , Jaws Gear Double Purple Doja (DPD) would be a good place to start..Ive got some freebies of Purple Alice (DPD x Banana Kush F9) that Im stoked to try.

Killingfields fems will give you over 70% purple plants (no matter what you do). Some real nice high yielding plants in that line.

I'd say around half of Sugar Punch have purple hues with a handful being pink or purple (no matter what you do). Also from Sannies.

A lot of folks like to take darker green lines and then expose them to cooler temps to get a nice purplish bud but that's a bit less than ideal as far as the plants are concerned IMO.

something I forgot to add about that grapegum, it gets a really dark colour to it around week 9 in my room. and gets.a little lighter durimg curing. also you dont need the low temps to get it to purple, my room sits around low 80s and gg turns purple every time.

Pardon my ignorance. Whats the desire for a purple strain beyond looks? Any tangible benefits beyond cash cropping for bag appeal?
