No they all look nice but I'm thinking the dolomitic lime might be what I needed more than anything. Their next watering im going to feed again but I won't be feeding multiple times in a row

I agree with Im4satori they look a little hungry and may need some mag but all and all they look amazing, maybe a good thing the inlaws didnt follow instructions lol made them stretch those roots out

Probably what it is and yes you should have amended it into the soil not just place it on top, can say this in those pics you can see some of your roots coming up on the top of the soil and they look super white and healthy, i would add some worm casings on that top layer cover all that up and amend it into the top 1 to 2 inches of soil as you water it will work its way down.

Another day and the fan leaves still look droopy. When I returned from vacation and found they needed water badly, I gave it water without nutrients. The next day I found that it still looked a little droopy so I added about 3.5gallons more but with a half concentration of nutrients. It rained a lot that night so I'm starting to think that the leaves are staying droopy due to overwatering... I'm really tempted to water now but the medium still feels a little damp and the new growth isn't drooping so I'm gonna go with my gut and wait another day... any thoughts?

I have been but the weather has been fucking shit up for me... yesterday I dug a hole next to my 20gal container about 6" deeper than the container, added a pipe to drain any runoff and back filled the hole with crushed rock to keep any water from staying in the container. I also have been keeping a lid on the container to keep anymore water from getting in, but this rain is nuts

Is this normal? My biggest fan leaves have turned yellow and fallen off, I found a lot of smaller ones on the bottom inside that did the same thing. I'm thinking it's because the genetic is so bushy that those leaves are no longer getting sufficient sunlight. The rest of the plant is healthy so I'm confused, it's not all the leaves just random ones
